ATERAS & M Corp announced today the successful conversion of the State of California Employment Development Department (EDD) IDMS COBOL applications to COBOL CICS DB2. More than 3 million lines of code and over 18,000 components were converted. Ten IDMS databases were combined into a single DB2 database. EDD’s single-client IDMS database was the nation’s largest integrated IDMS database management system, maintaining 30 years of unemployment and disability insurance claims records.
