JCL/PROC Stream Conversion

With ATERAS, JCL and PROC streams are quickly and completely converted to use the new utilities and database management system in your target environment.

If you are replacing an aging database or file system (such as IDMS, Adabas, IMS or VSAM), the ATERAS solution includes all changes to the resulting JCL and Procs so that the new streams process against the new relational database model and use the utilities that are native to the new database management system.

Since the ATERAS solution is completely automated with DB-Shuttle™, JCL conversion can be easily customized to include new naming standards, new library references and any other references for the new target. If your target environment is off-mainframe, the converted JCL is ready for translation to the selected vendor's script language for off-mainframe processing.
